Youth Music Awards

Youth Music Awards (YMA) 2019 was a visual identity campaign project we took on with the goal of capturing and evoking feelings of euphoria associated with music.

As YMA continues to give recognition and support to young musical talents in Singapore, we wanted to reflect that spirit within the brand identity based on the theme of ‘Catching Feelings’.

We anchored the visual identity of the campaign with different gradients depicting the range of emotions that we feel from listening to music. These gradients are also encapsulated within blobs of colours that seem to float around lightly – hinting at memory cues in our head that recall back on moments or experiences related to a particular song

These colourful gradient blobs come together and permeate the overall campaign language of YMA2019 to create a stark and recognisable visual identity.
